Corn (Challi/Bhutta/Makai)
by Lavleen Kaur
Who all love to eat Challi in Monsoon? On my way to Kasauli, in pretty busy traffic, eventually saw a Challi wala on the roadside and we could not stop ourselves from trying the mouth watering corn. The masala and lemon they apply on it enhances the flavor which makes it even more yummier. Challi is probably the cheapest healthy snack available. India is the only place where you will find this healthy snack on the roadside. These days corns are sold everywhere. You must have tried those masala corn cups from the stalls in cinemas and shopping malls. And of-course not to forget the popcorns. A movie is incomplete without popcorns :) Facts and health benefits of Corn (Challi/Bhutta/Makai) It benefits your health, as it delivers B vitamins, folic…...

So its Sunday afternoon. You are lying on the couch with your favorite tab and surfing the internet. As the clock hits 2pm, your hunger starts to develop and you need something different to change to satisfy your taste buds. Jamun
by Lavleen Kaur
With the onset of rains, come the much loved jamuns. If it is around 10 a.m.in the morning and you hear the melodious voice of a street hawker chanting "jamunooyeeeeooooooo.......jaaamuuuuuun lelooooo.....go out and buy some even if he refuses to negotiate :) Trust me, Jamun (also called Blackberry/Black plum), the fruit with a sharp sweet and sour taste which turns our tongue purple is loaded with nutrients and has many health benefits which most of us are probably unaware of. 1.
